Still no power in Houston...

To all my Michigan clients, please know that tomorrow I will be permanently living in Houston.  As of now, there is still no power there!  This will affect my work-flow, so I appreciate your patience until things are back to normal there.  I will get orders finished in the order received and as quickly as possible, thanks so much for your patience and business from the past 2 years!

Regretfully, the Bridal Symposium has been cancelled for next weekend due to hurricane Ike.  There is some damage, no power, and the arena is currently being used by FEMA.  The show will be pushed back until April 18 and 19, 2009.

My husband survives the hurricane alone...

As some of you may know, my husband is living in Houston, and I'm living in MI.  He wasn't in an evacuation area so he stayed through the storm.  He couldn't sleep through the noise of it, until the eye of the storm.  There is no power there, which means miserable conditions.  The humidity and temperature is so high, everything feels wet!  He's found some relief in the car!  There's a lot of damage there, and they are predicting his next day of work to be on Thursday!  Until then, he doesn't have much to do.  I'm pretty jealous b/c I would love to be there taking pictures!  However, I wouldn't like the circumstances.  I just feel really bad b/c he's all alone.  He was calling me in the wee hours on Saturday to see how much longer the storm would last, as he had no way of knowing.  I will be back there in about a week,  I hope things get better before then for everyone down south, it's sounds like it's quite a mess.
